How to Claim HRDF

If your company contributes to the HRD Corp levy, you can claim back the cost of our training programmes. Here's how the process works — step by step.

1

Make sure your company is registered with HRD Corp

Your company must be registered with HRD Corp (PSMB) and have an active levy account. Most Malaysian employers in covered industries contribute 1% (or 0.5%) of each employee's monthly wages. You'll need your login for the e-TRIS system (Employer Training Records Information System) at etris.hrdcorp.gov.my.

2

Choose your programme & register with us

Pick the MyCorp Academy programme you want, and let us know your participants. Because we are an HRD Corp Accredited Training Provider, our programmes are claimable. We'll provide you with the course details and a quotation you'll need for your grant application.

3

Apply for a grant before the training starts

This is the most important step. Log into e-TRIS and submit a Grant Application for the training — this must be done before the training date (HRD Corp recommends at least a few days in advance). You'll enter the course details, dates, participants, and estimated cost. Wait for the grant to be approved before the programme begins.

4

Attend the training

Participants attend the programme. Attendance must be properly recorded — HRD Corp generally requires a minimum of 75% attendance of the total training hours for the claim to be valid. We handle the attendance records and documentation on our side.

5

Submit your claim after training

Once the training is complete, the claim is submitted through e-TRIS with the supporting documents — typically the invoice issued to HRD Corp, the attendance form, and (for online training) the system-generated attendance. In many cases, as the accredited training provider, we can submit the claim on your behalf — just ask us.

6

HRD Corp processes & disburses

HRD Corp reviews the claim and, once approved, disburses the financial assistance from your levy account. The amount depends on the course fee and the applicable rates under HRD Corp's Allowable Cost Matrix (ACM).
